    细胞防止自身无节制分裂导致生成癌细胞有两种方式——细胞凋亡和细胞衰老。德国研究人员16日宣布他们在动物实验中发现,细胞凋亡和细胞衰老之间存在关联。他们认为,这一发现可能对癌症治疗具有重要意义。

    研究人员认为,这一发现可能对深入了解各种癌症的发病机理都有意义。沙里泰大学医院的施密特教授说:“如果我们能通过激活细胞衰老的方式抑制那些化疗无法杀死的癌细胞的生长,这将为治疗癌症提供一种新的可能性。”
