    日本琦玉县立癌症研究所研究员菅沼雅美领导的研究小组证实，如果绿茶与防癌药物一起喝，便可以使疗效提高2—7倍。据说，如果每天喝10杯绿茶效果会更明显，能减少防癌药物的副作用。据研究，茶的主要成分ＥＧＣＧ等儿茶素类物质具有抑制癌细胞增殖的效果。

   菅沼等人将美国验证有抑制癌细胞增殖作用的预防药物和绿茶一起服用，证实具有杀伤癌细胞的效果。他们在预防大肠癌的药物“斯林达克”中加入EGCG，视浓淡情况可使疗效提高3—7倍。将EGCG加入预防乳腺癌药物“它莫西芬”中可使疗效提高2倍。

   据说，要想提高疗效，一天需要喝绿茶10杯(大约1000毫升)左右。

   这些防癌药物主要具有利用其抗炎效果阻止遭破坏的基因的细胞癌变的作用。

   菅沼说：“喝绿茶有助于减少服用治疗胃溃疡和血栓等疾病药物的副作用。多喝绿茶的人肯定有很强的防癌能力。”
