2010年,以“关爱生命,科学防癌,让生活更美好”为主题的第16届全国肿瘤防治宣传周在京拉开序幕。中国癌症基金会控烟与肺癌防治工作部再度携手阿斯利康(中国)举办“关爱肺癌———美好生活‘易’起来”为主题的肺癌防治宣传活动。
南方医科大学南方医院副院长兼肿瘤中心主任罗荣城教授指出,肺癌目前已取代肝癌成为我国恶性肿瘤首位死亡原因。肺癌的主要致病原因是吸烟,因此控烟工作是关系着我国人民健康十分重要和紧迫的大事。目前晚期肺癌的主要治疗手段是以化疗为主。有效的化疗可提高患者的生存期,但伴有明显的毒副作用。口服靶向药物吉非替尼(印度易瑞沙 印度特罗凯 印度力比泰 巴西多吉美)的临床应用,使肺癌患者追求更高的生活质量成为现实。
罗荣城教授指出,口服靶向治疗药物的应用,改变了晚期非小细胞肺癌传统治疗思路和模式。化疗已经不再是患者唯一选择,晚期非小细胞肺癌患者的存活时间已经得到了显著的延长。相信在不久的将来,非小细胞肺癌将成为像高血压和糖尿病一样可以长期控制在稳定状态的慢性疾病。
