研究人员研制开发了一种新的诊断平台可以早期诊断癌症,在呼出的气体中找到代表肺存在病理细胞的蛋白生物标记。
肺癌诊断出来越早,治愈的机会就越大。但早期诊断是困难的,因为在肺癌早期表现为慢性炎症反应。为了明确诊断,患者需要进行X线检查或支气管镜检查,而后者可能对肺会产生刺激,或需要取走组织样本,这对患者来说很难接受。
德国的科学家研究出一种方法,可以检测呼气中的特殊蛋白生物标记物。存在这种生物标记物就意味着肺中存在肿瘤细胞。为了完成检查,患者需要向一种设备呼吸大约20分钟时间。呼出的气体进行冷凝和浓缩,然后通过能够识别这种特殊蛋白的抗体进行标记物检测。该蛋白能够刺激新血管的生长。
